As long as you have your signed California title ready and contact us before early afternoon, our licensed tow partners can usually dispatch a truck the same day, Monday through Saturday. The driver meets you at your home, apartment, or workplace, handles the paperwork, loads the vehicle (running or not), and you’re free to move, clear your garage, or cancel insurance with confidence. Then Heritage for the Blind mails your tax acknowledgment after your vehicle is processed.

20–30 minutesA licensed tow truck meets you at the address you choose—home in Pacific Beach, a condo in Little Italy, a shop in Kearny Mesa, or a storage lot in National City. The vehicle does not need to run or pass inspection. The driver completes the pickup paperwork, loads your car, and your driveway or parking space is suddenly clear.
Donation completed and tax receipt sent
2–4 weeksWheel Forward processes your donated vehicle to benefit Heritage for the Blind, a 501(c)(3) serving people who are blind or visually impaired. After the vehicle is sold, Heritage for the Blind mails you a tax receipt you can use when you file; for qualifying donations over IRS thresholds, you may need to attach Form 1098-C.

Your car does not need to start, run, or even pass inspection. We regularly pick up cars with dead batteries, failed engines, body damage, and expired smog. As long as a tow truck can access it, we can usually remove it quickly at no cost to you.
